This is what I put on the back side of a greeting card of mine that I have recently put up for sale on my web site – it’s a fun little story consisting largely of famous authors’ names (Michèle and Shelley, I was thinking of you while composing this). Are you making sense of all the names?

A mixed-media-style illustration of mine has been chosen to appear on the American Illustration 29 web gallery at www.ai-ap.com. The collage-style artwork is entitled Flower Power, and shows a bizzare-looking flower in a pot that resides on a table.

A slightly altered version was used for a folded postcard design which you can buy here.

The work was one of only 280 images from over 8,000 submitted to receive at least two votes from the jury and is therefore eligible to appear permanently on the American Illustration website – where over time illustrators build an online portfolio of their AI winning images and where creatives make direct contact with them.

This is a whimscial artwork I created for The Writer magazine. It is on the topic of letting a book go once it turns out that it is not really taking you anywhere, and shows a puzzled-looking humanoid book scratching its head in disbelief at a road fork.

Here’s an animated mixed-media image on the topic of statistics and mathematics, showing a guy of numbers with a vision.

This one I made on a special feature on capital raising. I went for a literal approach, showing the actual raising / hoisting of a brick-structured dollar sign by a bunch of small-sized business people silhouettes.

Here’s a mixed-media illustration of mine which visualizes the achievements of great people (including those who still need to grow to be great).
