ZEIT, DER SPIEGEL, Gruner+Jahr, Tecniche nuove, Euromoney, Hong Kong Tatler,

Cover
art is what makes the buyer decide if or if not to buy a
magazine. I have provided cover illustrations for
publications like DER
SPIEGEL, The Writer, Euromoney, Italia Grafica, and Nature Publishing.
Spot
art refers to smaller-scale illustrations in a variety of
different styles which are used
with an article.
My spot illustrations have been assigned by major
publications like Hong Kong Tatler or DIE ZEIT, and by
publishers like Warren Group, MacFadden and IDG.
Originally developed
for my self-owned legal magazine,
LEGAmedia, these
two-colored spot cartoons featuring "The Man with the
Hat" have since spread internationally.
These spot cartoons
feature a guy called Joe, a girl called
Joyceline, and others. They are usually drawn with the swift
stroke of a brush. "Joe" cartoons were initially created for the German
Trade Union.
I started out being a cartoonist with this long-nosed guy
here. My client list here includes DIE WELT, Deutsche Bank, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung,
and Süddeutsche Zeitung.
I have been supplying cartoons,
cover illustrations, and spot illustrations under my pseudonym
"Révilot" (= "Oliver" flipped around plus a little French) for publications
like The Writer,
Ravensburger, ComputerWeekly and Internet News.
