Goliath has
another thing coming if he thinks he can bully David whose sling
and faith are always by his side. Hold on tight Goliath - you're
in for a big surprise - small can be powerful! Humourous and
inspired text adorned with delightful illustrations to captivate
the smallest and the strongest.
“A giant that’s mean is a very bad thing! He’s worse than a pest, and he bothers the king!”
“I hate to throw rocks, but I’ll just have a fling for I found five pebbles that just fit my sling.”
“But David you’re small and the armor won’t fit. The giant won’t fall just by courage and grit.”
“You might make him laugh and fall in a pit, but you hardly make half of him. Why not just quit?”
“I’ve hardly got started. I’ve only begun The king’s feeling sad so this job must be done.”
“He jests, and he taunts, but he’s really no fun. He’s big, and he’s mean but not yet has he won!”
As David draws nearer, the giant just mocks. The big guy just laughs at the sight of the rocks.
But just with the sling and a prayer, he knocks Goliath right out of his shoes and his socks!
The giant is sleeping —the weak beat the strong. And David is smiling —he’s beaten King Kong!
And God who was with him —right there all along, showed us His mighty —right wins over wrong.
