Das Ergebnis kann sich sehen lassen: Es ist so fröhlich und bunt wie die Wiesn, eine Brezel, ein lachender Maßkrug, ein Riesenrad und ein Herz, das auf dem Oktoberfest wohl häufiger verloren geht.
    — It has taken Oliver Weiss only one day to create the Oktoberfest poster, 24 hours from intitial sketches to the final result; that’s all he could afford while still keeping up with his illustration business. Cooperating with the designer worked like a charm, and in an in-depth day-by-day process, we produced a little masterpiece on the evolution of the political parties in Germany.     on ci siamo mai incontrati di persona, mai sentiti per telefono. Tutto si è svolto via mail. Era sufficiente mandare a Oliver una breve descrizione del concetto da illustrare. In breve mi mandava alcuni schizzi, spesso in stili differenti. Pochi giorni per realizzare l’illustrazione definitiva, pronta da inserire nella copertina. Non sarebbe potuto essere più facile.
    — We’ve never met, we’ve never spoken on the phone – all communication is done via e-mail. A brief description of the concept is all it takes to get a set of drafts from Oliver to choose from, often in different styles. I would receive the final illustration after only a few days’ time – all ready to put on the cover. Nothing could be easier.
