INFO:
This video was created to promote a brochure featuring events and seminars
offered by the German Trade Union (DGB) in Munich. It was displayed
across Munich subway stops using "Infoscreen" technology to
project
image and video ads onto walls to entertain passengers who are waiting for
incoming trains.
15 seconds in duration, the video highlights three typical objectives
offered in the DGB brochure. In the first scene, a couple is seen
visiting a production company. In another, a man is seen filming the
Frauenkirche, Munich's landmark cathedral. The third scene shows a guy
on the stage holding a lecture to an audience. The final scene shows the
brochure and mentions a web site link.
Stylewise, the video resorts to limited animation techniques featuring a
newly developed comic strip character of mine called Joe. The animation works
with black and white line art.
The video was originally created in Flash and then converted to a
DVD-compatible MPEG video format and edited using video editing software.
I have also created the illustrations used on the cover for the events
brochure. |
