The Carola Stern Foundation was established by the prominent German journalist, Carola Stern, to aid persecuted and exiled writers according to the statutes of the P.E.N. association. The website offers background information on the foundation's goals and the founder.Carola Stern was a renowned German publicist and journalist, as well as a founding member of amnesty international Germany. The Carola Stern Foundation raises a voice for freedom of opinion and freedom of the press. P.E.N. is a worldwide association of writers with 145 centres in 104 countries (poets / playwrights, essayists, novelists). I have developed the site bottom-up as part creating the corporate design for the foundation (logo, stationery). Informative, cutting edge, and stylish, the website uses two dominant colors, black and a warm orange.
